Anisota?

Caterpillar/White Oak
Anisota was my guess - but which species.
Suspecting A. senatoria based on host plant but want to confirm
Thanks
jsk

senatoria/peigleri
Based on location I'd say these are more likely A. peigler. Please continue to monitor the larvae to be sure.

A. senatoria/peigleri
Thanks!
Unfortunately, the larvae completely denuded the small (ca. 2 ft high) sapling within the following week and 'disappeared.' I searched nearby but couldn't find any trace of them. Just hope they managed to survive. Better luck next time.
