I appreciate your kind comment Eric and your help with the ID. That's what I thought it was because it is the most common robber fly species at the site where I shot this one, but better be sure. My picture of Saropogon nitidus received a lot of attention. I have been looking for this robber fly to better document it, but no success there yet. I'll keep trying before the end of the season. Thanks again!
