Leaf cutter bee getting ready to roost for the night. On Grindelia (gumweed) at sea side beach. Any ideas of which genus?

Where are the horns?
Thanks for getting the bee in the photo down to species! Had a quick look at the "Key to Megachile in Canada" and it is out of it's range - this one was on the east coast of Vancouver Island (apparently it should only be found in the BC interior). The description states there is a "horn" coming off the cylpeus - can that be seen on the photo? I am looking for it but just can't see it. Or are the yellow hairs diagnostic?
