Sarcophagidae
Looks like a male Sarcophagidae. Practically the only way to ID species is to pull out the male genitalia. With the fly soft (use water or ethyl acetate if it's not fresh) you can often pry open the genital capsule with a tiny insect pin.

Too bad that's the case, since I thought this one had the best change of an ID given the pictures I got.
