Diceroprocta vitirpennis complex
The cicada pictured here belongs to the Diceroprocta vitripennis complex - as currently defined, described and pertains to this cicada typology in the Southeastern USA.

D. vitripennis is a highly variable species, esp. with regards to the degree of red, black & green on the mesonotum

Note the lack of the infuscation - the cloudy "Z" looking pattern typical of Tibicen species - this cloudy "Z" is seen towards the ends of the wings (less frequently seen in Diceroprocta species - noteable exception D. olympusa, D. biconinca & a few others).

Because of the longer wings, coloration/pattern and the lack of the "Z" in the wing, I'm in a 100% agreement that this is indeed Diceroprocta vitrippenis
