Cossula magnifica

Cossula magnifica
Range, Conecuh County, Alabama, USA
May 29, 2007
Size: Wing span 2.9 cm
Moth appeared to be fresh, but after chilling and opening the wings, I could not be so sure that it's a new moth. Its resting posture was similar to Prominents. Could not find a reasonable match in Covell. Any ID help will be greatly appreciated. Darryl

2674 - Cossula magnifica [Cossidae]
Very nice find.
