Spider with octopus-like head - Leucauge venusta

Spider with octopus-like head - Leucauge venusta
Cap Sauers Holdings Forest Preserve 15 miles sw of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA
September 6, 2015
Size: 1/8" to maybe 1/4"
Found in web in upland woodlands. Skittish. Scampered along its webbing whenever I got too close for its comfort, then later when I left would return to original spot. Thought it had a very unusual shape, as its head seems extended on a long "neck." Curious what genus/species it belongs.

Just FYI
I've noticed that spiders do not like it when you breathe on them. Especially when they are in their web. So try turning your head when you need to breath out. It sounds silly but it's actually a great way to keep them still so you can get good up close images. :)
