Striped beetle - Disonycha

Striped beetle - Disonycha
Cap Sauers Holdings Forest Preserve 15 miles SW Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA
September 6, 2015
Size: 5/8" to 3/4"
One of a number of similar beetles on leaves in a marshy lowland area of tall grasses, scarlet smartweed, water parsnip. Never fly away even with camera held close to it. Tried to identify on this website and closest I could find was the striped cucumber beetle, although this specimen has different colors and markings, particularly on what I guess is its thorax. Beautiful insect in any case.
