Antioch, Contra Costa County, California, USA

Size: Small but visible
There are some of these bugs living on the plant. They don't appear to be causing any damage, but I'm not sure what they are.

Moved tentatively
Moved from Xerophloea viridis.

X. peltata is known from Cali (the 1961 range map shows peltata in California and virdis going as far as Arizona), and the head looks longer than typical viridis.

Moved tentatively & cropped for the guide
Moved from ID Request.
