moth -
Macrosaccus morrisella
Orient yard, Pickaway County, Ohio, USA

The closest I can find is 0790 Macrosaccus restrictella, but the markings are different unless there is variability in this species.

Macrosaccus morrisella
The silvery marking at the base of the forewing and the markedly shiny overall appearance (not seen in
Macrosaccus robiniella
or
M. uhlerella
) diagnose this moth as being the
Amphicarpaea
-feeding
M. morrisella
.

I don't know, but 0790 is Macrosaccus robiniella :) There is a Phyllonorycter restrictella, though.
