Diacme elealis?
Carol, couldn't this be Diacme elealis instead? (Too much black on the hindwings' margin.)

Interesting. I think I have had this moth. Where did you get the ID?

my photos
Ann, I have photographed it in Florida and I think I identified it from my photos.

Many thanks. I think I have it pinned to go to BOLD if I ever get a quote from them.

Have you sent many for DNA?

Hi Carol,

I started in 2013 because I was told that we have unusual moths in the Edwards Plateau area and I wanted to contribute what I could.

I have been sending "free samples" donated to their collection. I have sent two rather large batches, some I wanted help identifying and some that I did not think they had in their data base.

Only my first batch has been processes. Now I am willing to learn to "do the work" to document the samples appropriately, but I have not been able to get a "batch quote". Hopefully I will be able to do so sometime this year. It REALLY interests me!
