Rhadine infernalis infernalis Barr and Lawrence - Rhadine infernalis

Rhadine infernalis infernalis Barr and Lawrence - Rhadine infernalis
"CCC Cave", Bexar County, Texas, USA
August 26, 1987
Size: ~8.5mm
A nearly-eyeless Rhadine. Collected by Scott J. Harden, who also identified it. The width/length ratio of the pronotum is 0.6, which supports the infernalis subspecies, as does the lack of "micropubescence" on the elytra.
This is a federally-listed endangered species.
