Comparison between Two Papaipema Species - Papaipema
Comparison between Papaipema sciata and Papaipema limpida

We see the differences you point to
on these two images very nicely. But - we don't see those differences on the BugGuide images placed in the two species. All five images look essentially the same. We would say the images placed on the limpida page are also sciata???

I noticed the same thing
I have emailed Jim Wiker, Papaipema specialist, to check these out, before making any moves, in either direction. If I don't hear back from him, I'll move all to genus or, more likely, a "species group"

Iowa limpida
The two Iowa photos on the limpida page were IDed by Tony McBride who is an expert in the group, and Wiker has examined the specimen in person and agrees.

Yes
I had noticed that. I'm leaving all where they are, unless McBride or Wilker say differently.
