An emergence sequence. This is my second time intentionally rearing mosquito larvae, and I've had far more success than my first time, with three dozen adults emerging (almost all fourth-instar larvae and pupae survived) and many more second-instar larvae developing at the moment.

Nice sequence, Stephen
Good presentation, too.

Thanks, Ron
I was fortunate to be able to capture this event entirely. These guys emerge fast - the time gap between the splitting of the mosquito's pupal skin and its first flight spans less than ten minutes!
