Oc. japonicus
This is Oclerotatus japonicus. You can tell because this has light bands only basally and not apically on the hindtarsomeres. The scutum patterm matches that of japonicus.

What kind of habitat did you collect this from?

Hi Sean,
I collected this as a pupa from a small, stagnent manmade pond-turned-mosquito breeding habitat.
That's a second Oc. japonicus for me and a second Ontario record for the Guide ... this time in Richmond Hill. Looks like they are now established across most of southern Ontario.
Thanks for the quick ID, Sean!
