Oblique Grass Moth - Hodges #9819 - Amolita obliqua

Oblique Grass Moth - Hodges #9819 - Amolita obliqua
Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
September 23, 2015
One of the prettiest Oblique specimens I've seen
UPDATE: Thanks for Ken Childs for catching this, this adds new species for Alabama

Not Sure
Where does Ken say this is fessa? I think he's is likely correct but I'm not at all confident.

I see that the inner streak runs from the apex at an angle toward the inner margin and then bends around the reniform toward the base. But I also see a faint extension at the bend which continues toward the inner margin. This is not much different from 06-FLOR-0442 which appears to barcode as obliqua. It may be that some of these cannot be identified by photo.

Facebook
I've tried posting a link, but not successful. It's posted on "Mothing and Moth Watchers." Ken's comment was, "Are you sure this isn't Amolita fessa?"
