What can I say
From the few wing markings I can detect I remain convinced that this is a male
Spodoptera frugiperda
but have to admit that Khyl is more knowledgeable about moths than I am.

El Paso seems out of place
for latifascia. Any way to double check this one?

I didn't collect it
but it looks like your main concern is the location and I can be much more precise about this: I photographed it in a small patch of lawn in my house back then.

I agree
I would call it a male
Spodoptera frugiperda
like this one
.
