Rhipicephalus sanguineus? - Rhipicephalus sanguineus - female

Rhipicephalus sanguineus? - Rhipicephalus sanguineus - Female
El Paso, El Paso County, Texas, USA
September 23, 2015
My veterinarian kindly provided me with a couple of live ticks. One I believe is an engorged adult female and the other an adult male and both Rhipicephalus sanguineus. The female is presented here. They were collected on 9/23/15 from a dog.
