Psyllidae or Aphalaridae? - Craspedolepta suaedae

Psyllidae or Aphalaridae? - Craspedolepta suaedae
El Paso, El Paso County, Texas, USA
September 26, 2015
Size: approx. 2 mm
I used a sweepnet on Seepweed, Suaeda suffrutescens, attempting to collect adult psyllids. Obviously, I captured a number of arthropod species, but the attached image is the only possible (in my opinion) bug related to the nymphs I had observed previously. Could these specimens actually be in the family Aphalaridae? For nymphs and host plant, see my BG submission

Aphalaridae indeed
I'd love to see a specimen (ideally a male), if you still have these. Email me at cmalloryca@gmail.com if you are interested. If that isn't possible, do you perhaps have a lateral angle photo that shows the wing venation and the side of the head?

I will try to find some for you
but the place where I found them had a HUGE hailstorm and the plants look like they went through a grinder. Not exaggerating here! I am very busy nowadays, but I always try to find personal time to take bug photos although I am not collecting most specimens.

Use [thumb:number] with number being "1141393" to link images more easily for people. They do look to me like Aphalarids.
