Tenagobia is the native genus in the Neotropics; various older works have reported this genus in multiple US states but all records are erroneous/misidentifications

Range
worldwide, mostly palaeotropical; in the US, only in FL(1)
Remarks
both spp. recorded in Florida are of SE Asian origin, probably introduced with aquarium plants(1)
