Cloudless Sulphur - Phoebis sennae

Cloudless Sulphur - Phoebis sennae
U of A, Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas, USA
September 24, 2015
Size: 20 mm (body)
I was not able to get this butterfly to land with its wings spread. It was a bright yellow color when flying over the flower beds on campus.

Cloudless Sulphur
Nice image. They love red flowers for nectar and this one is probably a male.

Thanks
Thank you for confirming the ID and for the compliment on the image.

Note that this is a Cloudless rather than a Clouded
Sulphur.
