Moved from Spiders. Yep! I totally agree with your identification. It's a female. These ones are common around my house too, so I recognized it. Pretty spiders! Sorry you got bit, they do have some pretty serious jaw strength! I play tug-of-war with the couple I have at home. One has lost the ability to make silk for some reason, so I "hand feed" her crickets with tweezers and she is strong!

as you know I have nothing against spiders and if the one had not got in my sock drawer and in my sock, I wouldn't have been bit. I felt bad cause it was mortally wounded. And the bite was nothing really just a poke. These I put right outside however I try to put them all out, except jumpers, I usually have a few running around in the windows and plants.
