Many (of what appear to be the same species) have the white "flaps" on the tip of the tail.
Many others do not.

Males
Have the long white hairs in Promachus bastardii. Females have more pronounced abdominal striping and a tapered tip. These males have an impressive courtship flight and pounce. Watch for it.
