We found this metallic beetle resting on a Jack-in-the-pulpit leaf in an oak hickory woodland. He didn't move the whole time Jane was photographing him.

Tenebrionidae
Tenebrionidae: Lagriinae: Arthromacara sp. The long terminal antennal segment makes it a Lagriini. Judging by the lack of distinct elytral striae, this is probably Arthromacara.
