Differs from Selanders description
I'm reading Selander's 1982 paper on this group of the Pyrota and the present beetle differs markedly in characters that are explicit in Selander's key and description of concinna, vis:
-- "Elytra usually paler than head and pronotum...";
-- "basal spots on each elytron fused...in 3/4 of the specimens, narrowly separated in the rest";
-- "median fascia quadrate, subequal in length to basal fascia, separated from it by a distnace no more than its own length..."
So if the present beetle is concinna, it is at variance with Selander's description.
Just sayin'...
