These are not the usual mites that I see on flies. Disappointed that I was unable to get any other photos of the "passengers" before the fly took off. I think the fly itself may be Amoebaleria helvola.

Just came across this photo which shows something similar. So these must be pseudoscorpions attached to the fly's legs.
