May 29, 2007
Size: 14mm

Moved

Moved
Moved from Common Sawflies.

Tenthredinidae
Blennocampinae, Tethida barda (Say). Larva feeds on Fraxinus.

Note: Tethida barda is the correct name for the black headed ash sawfly; same as Tethida cordigera which was used in the past.

Moved
Moved from Argid Sawflies.

Antenna
Because these antenna are many segmented, I believe that this is in the wrong section. Please see info page http://bugguide.net/node/view/4411
My guess might be Common Sawflies (Tenthredinidae) http://bugguide.net/node/view/13142/bgpage
