Family ID and following comment by Christopher Rogers.

"That clam shrimp is in the family Limnadiidae. It is probably Eulimnadia, but could be Limnadia. To get to genus I would need to see the ventral margin of the telson in lateral view. To get to genus and species, I would need to see the eggs.

In Illinois one can find Limnadia lenticularis, Eulimnadia agasizii, E. antlei, E. diversa, maybe a couple of others."
