LBJ National Grassland, Decatur, Wise County, Texas, USA

Arphia simplex
very late in the season for so far north. I think there must be at least two broods (maybe more) in south Texas, but I didn't realize they could be adult in autumn in northern Texas too. If you click on "data" at the top of the page, it is interesting to look at the seasonal spread in Texas, as compared to everywhere else.

Moved from Grasshoppers, Crickets, Katydids.

Moved for expert attention; Arphia?
Moved from ID Request.
