While this is likely a lethal attack, the larger ladybird larva seemed indifferent to what was going on.

Ron did say specifically that he wanted one image under Lacewings and another under Coccinellidae, so back to Coccinellidae this goes.
It's definitely Chilocorinae, but might be
Axion
rather than
Chilocorus
. Good thing we've got subfamilies :-)

Identification. Suggest moving to Chrysopidae: No Taxon Larvae. Interesting photo. From the position of the chrysopid's legs, it looks like its doing all it can to hold on as it is being dragged around by the larger beetle larva.
