Sphaeridiinae? - Phalacrus

Sphaeridiinae? - Phalacrus
Middle Spring, Cimmaron National Grassland, Morton County, Kansas, USA
October 15, 2015
Size: 2.5mm
I think this is a Hydrophilid in the subfamily Sphaeridiinae. I can't get it further than that, and I'm not sure if that is even correct. Came to a UV light where a spring usually is.

Phalacridae
The antennae did not fit a Hydrophilidae (too much space between club segments). It is must likely a Phalacridae of the genus Phalacrus (or something near):

Phalacrus
Agreed, Phalacrus sp.
