Violence.
Frankly, I could do without the carnage aspect. Opinions from others? At least when an assassin bug or robber fly kills something, it does not eat it alive or dismember it. Just my two cents.

Violence
I just posted photos I took on October 1, 2012 of a female Chinese Mantid. I agree with you Eric, most of us want to get close looks at insects to identify them correctly, not to
focus on the violent mangling of their prey. That's getting into a creepy place for me: enjoying photos depicting violence. That is NOT what this site is about.

It's not about violence, but about survival. You want to eat, you have to kill something. Vegetarians are no exception. They just kill things that can't run :)
