Hi, Bugguide

I've run into several of these beetles at this location before (they stand out as being the only beetles that I actually hear first and then see walking). The habitat is Douglas Fir/Big-leaf Maple/Red Alder forest with sword fern and oregon grape undergrowth. Do any of you know if this individual can be assigned a species name?
