Marsh Isopod - Saduria entomon

Marsh Isopod - Saduria entomon
Southbeach, Lincoln County, Oregon, USA
October 11, 2015
Large bug found in a small stream in the tidal flats of Poole Slough.

Should be Chaetiliidae
Reminds me of Sadura but I don't know anything about west coast isopods

Moved tentatively...
Moved from Isopods.

Looks like Valvifera
Perhaps a Pentidotea, though I'm not familiar with the West Coast fauna. With Isopods, the best angle for identification purposes is from directly above, as the shape of the abdominal segments is extremely useful.
