Maybe another Cat of Cosmosoma myrodora - Scarlet-Bodied Wasp Moth - Hodges#8280 - Cosmosoma myrodora
Baton Rouge, Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, USA
October 24, 2015
Size: About 1/2 inch
I think this might be a caterpillar of Cosmosoma myrodora - Scarlet-Bodied Wasp Moth - Hodges#8280.
It is eating a blossom of climbing hempweed, the proper host plant for this caterpillar.
Next, I will attach a photo of progress in eating this blossom.

This is a follow-up to a post I made on 10/10/15.
That post shows some close-ups of one of these cats.
I am the only one to reply to that post yet, so the ID has not been confirmed.
This cat was found at the same location.

I have also made a post of one of these cats eating a leaf of climbing hempweed.
