WOW ... this bug ...
One night, a few years back, here in South Florida it had been raining like crazy for what seemed like a week. Then one night, THESE things were literally falling out of the sky like nothing I have ever seen. The whole parking lot was moving, literally crawling with them. Even though I am from Michigan and around a LOT of water, and had seen a lot of 'water bugs', I never saw these guys until I was down here. It was like something from a science fiction/horror movie. They still freak me out. The thing that freaked me out the most is that they can fly ... but not very well. They seem to take off and just go ... anywhere ... crashing into things ... and me.
