Hippoboscid Fly

Hippoboscid Fly
Lake St. Clair Metropark, Macomb County, Michigan, USA
September 20, 2015
Size: 1/3 inch
Probably cannot be identified to species, but I have uploaded these here because there are so few Hippoboscid photos on the site right now. This one was on a White-throated Sparrow that I was banding. I don't see where to upload them directly to Hippoboscidae.

Moved from Louse Flies.

Move again?
These three should probably go to Ornithomyinae since they were on a bird...

If you would like to move them yourself, click the tag all link above the image thumbnails. Then you navigate to the node you want to move them to, click the image tab, then click the move tagged images link.

Moved from ID Request.
