Paul Skelley det. his comment: "A. insculptus can't be confused with A. imbricatus once you've seen one: it does not have the prominent eltyral setae, has striate elytral intervals (especially apically), and has distinct clypeal teeth. Plus, A. insculptus is a deer dung specialist that does not come to light. It is a rarely seen beast, unless you look for it."

Nice clean shot - the very obvious dull, almost caked on clay appearance is diagnostic, most spp. are shiny. A. imbricatus can be differentiated from insculptus, and I can't really see it here - the elytra will have alternating intervals higher on apical fifth.
