Agreed..Now, the only identified species from North Dakota were identified "near rigidus" back in the 1960's, Seeing how there are only three species listed for the area, does this determination still seem to work? I could not find a key for them...but now I have dozens of specimens...Our 1960's ND weevil pub had two specimens...

I would call it Acamptus rigidus for now. The genus needs revision.

Great Thanks Robert, I see you are a weevil specialist, I'd like to hear your thoughts on maybe some assistance on a North Dakota weevil guide I would like to pursue.....and perhaps I should pull some genitalia on these specimens and see if I can get some comparison to the other "two" species in NA...
