Cynipidae? - Cynips mirabilis

Cynipidae? - Cynips mirabilis
mildred Knaipe County Park, Douglas County, Oregon, USA
October 26, 2015
Size: about 6 mm
I noticed several fallen white oak leaves had galls on them. The galls are about 1 inch diameter. Much to my surprise I found this little wasp in one, I think a gall wasp. A couple other similiar galls had white grubs in them and others had a small hard center with fibers radiating out from the center such as found in the center of this wasp's gall. I'll post one of the grubs after this insect.
