Weird thorn mimicing hopper - Mistharnophantia
Tucson, Saguaro National Park, Pima County, Arizona, USA

Size: 4mm
Little hopper sitting on the side of a building, looked like a thorn. Initial thoughts were Membracidae but upon further investigation the ornamentation was at the posterior of the hemelytra. I am not sure where to place it and did not collect the insect for further investigation.
