American Lady - Vanessa virginiensis

American Lady - Vanessa virginiensis
Norris City, White County, Illinois, USA
June 4, 2007
I posted an open-winged view of one of these for this month in Illinois, here is a closed-wing view for comparison.

This image is un-cropped, for those interested in these aspects - meaning it is exactly as it looked in my viewfinder. Please leave this image alone, i.e. don't crop it in any manner. Thank you.

Un-cropped
Please leave this image alone, i.e. don't crop it in any manner. Thank you. If you'll notice, in it's description I mentioned it was exactly as it looked in my viewfinder and was uncropped. When it got cropped, it made that statement untrue.

Take Credit
Will anybody take credit for the cropping that had been done to this picture? I'm willing to bet that this goes unanswered. I hope I'm wrong, though.

Wow
That - is a beautiful shot.

Nice camera angle
That b-fly rules the skys!

That's a great picture
both in terms of detail and accuracy, and aethetics!
