Found on the ground amid leaves on a dirt and gravel path thru blackland prairie wildflower meadow at White Rock Lake, Winfrey Point. Mid morning, mid August.

And I hope it is. Because it will be a new species for me and you don't already have a Texas entry for it either. win/win :) Look forward to what the experts decide. Unfortunately it ran off and I only got the one shot. Did not want to leave the path and tromp the wildflowers.
