Oecanthus nigricornis - male

Oecanthus nigricornis - Male
Cornell Campus, Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York, USA
November 5, 2015
Single male found calling from dried goldenrod stalk.

Beautiful male.
Although I have found O. forbesi with deep black limbs, the location this male was found (NE US) points to O. nigricornis.
