Size: large
Beautiful spider, right by a gate. The web was anchored on a live oak and a fairly distant fence. Beautiful stabillimenta. Sadly, it soon disappeared.

That is the spider's genus. It's in the same taxonomical family as Orb Weavers, that being Araneidae.
