Wheel Bug - Arilus cristatus

Found this specimen on my porch at dusk and knew only that it was a true bug. Thanks to Bug Guide for the wealth of information that allowed me to narrow down a definitive ID. It was very docile and cooperated by posing for a few pictures before I placed it on a shrub safely away from my nosy pets.
