Size: 11.5 mm
Found on
Lysimachia / Trientalis borealis
, but I'm not sure it ever actually fed on this host. It began spinning a cocoon on the day I collected it.

Charlie, I know I am not who you want to hear from, and I don't know about that vegetation, but I thought the dark C marking in the PM area looked like the spread image on MPG

Thanks--Chionodes obscurusella seems plausible
There was certainly sugar maple nearby, and that's one of the hosts according to
Wikipedia
