Scorpion - Paruroctonus
Juniper Canyon Trail, Pinnacles National Park, San Benito County, California, USA
November 13, 2015
Both of these scorpions were found just a few feet from one another in a rocky, chaparral portion of the Juniper Canyon Trail while on a night hike. They are only about 3/4 inch long (head to tail tip).

looks like P variabilis to me
Locality is a match for variabilis, too.
