Size: .8 mm
Frans, this globular springtail was captured in a pit trap I placed in sand that was littered with Florida Slash Pine needles. It resembles, but does not seem to be identical to, another springtail that you identified for me in December 2014.

Given this specimen is more pale, it could be a juvenile instar. The pattern seems to match quite well (with small diffs).
