I agree with metrioptera
Oecanthus forbesi and Oecanthus nigricornis cannot be ID'd by photos - both are too variable in color and markings -- and can look exactly like the other species. Some O. forbesi have a lot of black, some O. nigricornis have very little black ... and vice versa.
